Those Were the Days!

Welcome, my friends!

For those of you who had the pleasure of growing up during the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, never before was there such a magical time highlighted with some of the most outstanding music, movies, and theater.

But the introduction of the Television will go down in history as one of the major technological advances of all time and one that would forever change the face of the world in which we live in.

My intention is to provide a fun, interactive walk down memory lane where poodle skirts and black leather jackets reign and the only major decision you have to make is which song to "spin" on the ol' record player!

So, dust off your Saddle Shoes and White Bucks and get ready to Rock Around the Clock!

Here are some wonderful testimonials from Jon Chattman:

"John E. Carr’s ‘Don’t Touch That Dial' is a delightful, well-written slice of nostalgia. From Porky Pig to Beavis and Butt-head, it’s a great walk through pop culture history and, best of all, makes you long for the characters of yesteryear, appreciate them even more today, make you think twice next time you reach that remote."

“’And Now, A Word From Our Sponsor is a wonderful, well-researched, and thorough book that drives home the fact that we can never get enough of pop culture nostalgia. From popular television commercials to unforgettable personalities and their respective shows, they're all in this book, well-documented, examined and oft-times, lauded with the author's signature wit and fondness for pop."
